The Sydney Symphony Orchestra is putting on a schools concert in Port Macquarie, where kids dive into how composers whip up musical magic using rhythm, texture, instruments and a bit of movement, all performed live and tied into the curriculum. Its an interactive gig guided by conductor Benjamin Northey, so the music sort of dances, swells and shape-shifts right in front of little eyes and ears, perfect for ages five to twelve and up.
Tickets are fifteen bucks each. It happens on Thursday 21 May 2026 from eleven am to eleven fifty am at Glasshouse Theatre on 30 to 42 Clarence Street and Hay Street in Port Macquarie NSW 2444 Australia.
