On National Tree Day come along to Bunderra Reserve in Beechwood for a hands-on community planting morning. Council and Hastings Landcare are working together to restore this stretch of bushland, aiming to put in more than 150 native trees and shrubs and about 230 grasses to help habitat regeneration and the health of the creek. The event is family friendly and suitable for all ages, and no gardening experience is required — having a good sense of humour will do just fine.

By joining you'll help re-vegetate the reserve, improve wildlife habitat and make the local green space a bit healthier. It is free to join but registration is essential. Tools and guidance will be provided, so bring sturdy shoes and something to drink.
