The 2026 Lower North Coast Dance Festival sees more than 1500 students from kindergarten to year 12 across 31 public schools in the region strutting their stuff with dances cooked up from the school syllabus. Its all about giving those young dancers, their teachers, and the crew behind the scenes a chance to shine, without any wild improvisations or rogue pirouettes.

Shows kick off Monday 15 June at 5.30pm and 7.30pm, same again Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June, then Thursday 18 June wraps it up with a longer 6pm to 8.30pm showcase. Tickets run 15 bucks for a single show Monday to Wednesday, 25 for a day pass with both sessions, or 20 for Thursdays gig. Its at Glasshouse Theatre on Clarence and Hay streets in Port Macquarie.
