Swing by the Port Macquarie Library on Tuesday, 20th May at 2:30 pm for an engaging chat with our local literary celebrity, Terry Stanton. This gent isn't just any author; he's a retired English solicitor who traded in his legal briefs for a pen, moving down under with his wife, Christine, to join their offspring already enjoying the Aussie sun. In his spare time, when he's not crafting captivating tales, you might catch him tickling the ivories of a clarinet.

Terry's latest page-turner, "Novichok," is his third literary outing, following his debut novel "Deliver me from Evil," which takes an imaginative dive into the life of Thomas Wentworth, the Earl of Strafford, who was quite the big cheese in King Charles I's court. He also dabbled in suspense with "No Mayday! No Mayday!" featuring an airliner that goes missing in a rather eerie echo of the MH370 saga. It's bound to be an afternoon of stories, laughter, and perhaps a few ponderous looks. Don't forget to register; we wouldn't want you missing out on this literary adventure.
