Think the Macbeths all-consuming thirst for power, Iagos silver-tongued scheming that could sell ice to Eskimos, Richard IIIs gleefully warped sense of fun, the fairy couple Oberon and Titanias whirlwind domestic spat that upends the world, the powers-that-be ignoring poor Juliets pleas, and Prosperos no-holds-barred magic tricks.
