The U3A (‘University of the Third Age’), after childhood and employment is an institution engaged in late-life learning that caters solely to the interests of older, mostly retired adults. Although the word University is in the name, there are no exams and no pre-learning requirements, but plenty of satisfaction and social benefits. Volunteers run classes for adults over 50.

The U3A International Dancers dressed in spectacular costumes will entertain you with dances from around the world. Singer/guitarists duo Dave Smith and Carol Baker will take you down memory lane together with Cathy Porter. While Judy Henry will play the role of Yum-Yum from Gilbert & Sullivan’s Mikado.
