Theres a Seniors Festival event called Mindful Photography Class, subtitled Live Life in Colour Seeing Stories Through Photography, kicking off on Thursday 5 March 2026 from 9am to 1pm at Sunset Gallery Framing and Printing on 25 Central Road number 2 in Port Macquarie.

Its a laidback workshop for seniors where you ditch the boring camera tech talk and just learn to spot colours light and everyday junk in fresh ways turning them into pics with a bit of soul. Grab your phone or DSLR no fancy gear required and mess around with provided props and mini backdrops. No prior skills needed because honestly who isnt a beginner at heart. Its free but registration is a must or youll be left snapping selfies outside.
