Dav Pilkey, the guy behind the Dog Man adventures and Captain Underpants chaos, is popping up at the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie for his Power Up with Reading tour, tied in with the Sydney Writers Festival. Expect to see him sketch his doodles live, chat about his quirky life story, and chuck in some onstage silliness thatll probably have kids giggling.

Hosted by Nathan Luff, its on Sunday 24 May 2026 from noon to 1pm at the Ross Family Studio in the Glasshouse Centre on Clarence Street and Hay Street. Tickets run adult at 14 dollars, Glasshouse or Library members at 9.50 dollars, and concession at 11 dollars per session.
