Grab a cuppa and settle in for a yarn about a book. On Saturday 9 August, kicking off at 3pm, Port Macquarie Library is hosting a panel chat where we'll be unpicking The Burrow by Melanie Cheng, this year's cracking choice for our One BIG Read. Our panel, a collection of local bookworms and intrepid readers, will be on hand to chew the fat about the story, and rest assured, there'll be a few tasty morsels available to keep your grey matter well-fuelled.

This shindig is the big wrap up for our community's shared reading escapade, which has been unfolding since June. Lots of folks around the area have been poring over The Burrow, and now's the chance to compare notes, or confess if you only made it halfway. Need a copy still They're floating around your local library, Council offices, and yes, even in some delightfully mysterious locations. It won't cost you a cent to join us, but we do need you to register your spot so we can count heads (and biscuits). We expect to call it a day around 5pm.
