Got a kid who fancies themselves a puppet master or just enjoys making things that wiggle A session is on the cards at Port Macquarie Library. This is where the 7 year olds and up can concoct their very own character and then bring it to life as a bendy, dancing puppet. Think less Cirque du Soleil, more a charmingly clumsy companion for future shenanigans.

This little escapade is part of the library's July school holiday lineup and thankfully it won't cost you a cent. Just a heads up, there are two chances to get your craft on Wednesday 16 July 2025, with sessions from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and again from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. To keep things fair and avoid any puppet related brawls, please only book for one session. Remember, bookings are an absolute must. You'll find all this happening at the Port Macquarie Library itself, located at 32 Grant St., Port Macquarie, NSW 2444 Australia.
