Get ready to lace up those trainers and join us on Sunday, 11 May 2025, for the Mother's Day Classic in Port Macquarie. You can either sprint like you're chasing down the last slice of cake or stroll leisurely while contemplating the mysteries of life. It's a casual 5km trek that aims to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer and ovarian cancer research. So, whether you're a marathon enthusiast or just in it for the post-walk coffee, everyone is welcome—pets, prams, and prattlers included.

The fun kicks off at Westport Park, where you'll find folks from all walks of life—serious runners, families with strollers, and maybe even someone dressed as a giant flower. Check-in starts bright and early at 07:15 AM and runs until 11:00 AM, so set those alarms and consider getting a good night's sleep the night before. Registration starts at a reasonable $38, which isn't too shabby for a chance to strut your stuff and support a great cause. Come for the run, stay for the sense of community and the undeniable fact that you probably just outran your mate.
