Luke Thurgate, Glasshouse artist in residence, is running a drawing workshop for art educators who might need a refresher on turning squiggles into something resembling art. Using still life setups that probably wont judge your wobbly lines, youll revisit the drawing basics through observational and expressive exercises before experimenting with fancier, more personal styles. Group chats and demos will share tricks for smuggling these ideas back into the classroom, hopefully without sparking a mutiny.

Single tickets cost sixty five dollars. Its on Friday 17 April 2026 from 10am to 1pm at Glasshouse Artlab, 30 to 42 Clarence Street and Hay Street, Port Macquarie NSW 2444, Australia.
