The Terrace is doing that thing where they let a band play on the patio, and this time it's The Volt rolling in with their classic rock set on Saturday July 18. They play loud and with plenty of energy, which is exactly what you want if your idea of a good winter evening involves guitar solos and not having to talk to anyone for three hours. It's free to get in, so you won't need to raid the couch cushions for loose change.

If you want to go, you'll need to ring 6583 2238 and let them know you're coming. The music starts at 6.30pm and wraps up at 9.30pm at The Terrace at The Bowl, on Hastings River Drive in Port Macquarie. It's a Saturday night, so you can sleep in the next day or at least pretend you meant to be that tired.
