Lily King is dropping by to chat about her latest novel, Heart the Lover, with Melanie Kembrey. Its a tale packed with love, desire, friendship and the sort of loss that sneaks up on you, coming hot on the heels of her New York Times bestseller Writers and Lovers. The narrator is a writer whos seen every rom-com cliche in the book, happily settled with her husband and kids until life throws a curveball from her romantic history. Think epic storytelling that gives a nod to literature and those wild young love days, all in Lilys sharp style.

Tickets are adult at 14 dollars per session, Glasshouse or Library members at 9.50 dollars, and concession at 11 dollars. Its on Saturday 23 May 2026 from 8pm to 9pm at the Ross Family Studio in the Glasshouse Centre, 30 to 42 Clarence Street and Hay Street, Port Macquarie NSW 2444, Australia.
