By day, she's Janette, but don't be fooled—she also moonlights as the award-winning suspense author Jaye Ford. Her first novel scooped up not one but two Davitt Awards, making her a household name among Australian crime writers, and her books have been translated into nine languages. Not too shabby for someone who writes from her cozy little nook in Newcastle, New South Wales.
