This evocative concert includes the unique experience of hearing the seldom performed song cycle by P. La Villa, augmented by contemporary pieces by predominantly female composers. Cantabile, the popular female ensemble, will be featured performing a selection of songs by Bartók, a 20th century Romanticist.
