Grow Catch and Cook is a free garden to plate setup thats open to all ages and keeps things hands on without the fuss. Youll muck around with gardening, have a crack at fishing or sort out some cooking from whatever you manage to snag or grow, all while picking up tips alongside family, carers or support workers who can join in for the laughs and the occasional flop.

It happens every Wednesday from 11 February to 18 March 2026 between 12:30pm and 2pm at Lake Cathie Community Hub and Garden on 34 Mullaway Road in Lake Cathie, which is a short drive from Port Macquarie.
