Books hitting the screen is like watching them swap comfy armchairs for the red carpet, sometimes stumbling but usually strutting. Crime scribe Mick Herrons Slough House thrillers morphed into the Apple TV hit Slow Horses, with Gary Oldman perfecting that worldweary spy boss vibe, while playwright Suzie Millers Prima Facie snagged a Laurence Olivier Award on stage before flipping into a novel and a film, because why stop at one format.
Mick and Suzie will dish on the behindthescenes chaos of adapting their tales and how it all tweaked their careers, in a yarn with host Benjamin Law.
