Get ready for a splash-tastic family outing these school holidays. Head over to Rocks Ferry Reserve in Wauchope for a no-cost, no-fuss introduction to dragon boating. It's the perfect chance to swap your usual weekend activities for some team paddling fun on the water. You can finally settle that debate about who's the best paddler in the family, and who just splashes too much.

Expect plenty of laughs as you learn the ropes – or should I say paddles – of this traditional sport. You don't need to be a rowing Olympian; just come with a sense of humour and a readiness for some water shenanigans. This is an ideal way to get everyone off the couch and into the fresh air for a memorable day out. Just remember, it's free, but you do need to save your spot by registering ahead of time.
