Come and grab a slice of cake at our morning tea where you'll have the chance to meet the artists behind the exhibition "Looking Back Moving Forward... bringing the past with us." This isn't just any old gathering; it's a creative celebration hosted by the NSW Mid North Coast FIBRE ARTISTS NETWORK. Expect to see a mishmash of traditional and contemporary textile methods. Think about taking your old socks and turning them into something that might just make the fashion world sit up and take notice.

The artwork will take you on a wild ride through textile techniques—from eco-dyeing with native plants to some clever references to climate change, plus a healthy dose of appliqué and printing. You'll find basket weaving with locally sourced materials and all sorts of quirky additions, including found objects and a medley of media like drawing, graphic design, and even sculpture. Oh, and if you've ever seen a garment and thought it could use a little pizzazz, there's going to be plenty of that. Just remember, this little shindig is free, but make sure to book your spot so we know how many cakes to bring.
