Come and hang out with Erna Walraven and Leanne at the Port Macquarie Library for a little chat about the stories behind the storyteller. Erna, who seems to have taken on just about every role imaginable—author, wildlife whisperer, zoo consultant, workshop wrangler, and all-around fun lecturer—definitely doesn't believe in boredom. You might say she wears more hats than a fancy dress shop during carnival season.

After more than three decades of watching animals in zoos and the wild, Erna has gathered a treasure trove of tales that connect us to our furry and feathered friends. She's got a knack for revealing the common threads of our evolutionary history and the quirky lessons we can learn from our animal ancestors.
