Fancy a relaxed chat with author Christopher Williams about the stories behind the storyteller at Port Macquarie Library on Tuesday 10 February 2026 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Chris stumbled into creative writing in 2020 after tagging along with a speculative fiction group in Newcastle, probably thinking it was just a one-off. Turned out his first crack was a poignant tale of an autistic boy whod lost his mum, published in 2021. Hes notched up poem wins in competitions since, and cheekily self-published his latest novel in October 2025. Its free, but registration is a must to snag a spot.
