The Office of Sport is putting on a with free workshops for community sports folks from Monday 2 March to Thursday 5 March 2026, hopping between Taree and Port Macquarie. These interactive sessions are geared towards volunteers and organisations keeping the game going, and you can pick one or go to the lot without any pressure. Expect light refreshments like sandwiches and wraps from 5.30pm, with the actual chit-chat kicking off at 6pm and wrapping up at 8pm. Registration is needed, but hey, its free so no big deal.

Kick things off in Taree at MidCoast Council Chambers on Biripi Way with Child Safe Sport on Monday 2 March, then on Tuesday 3 March choose between Member Protection Information Officer or De-escalation in Sport, both running at the same time. Over in Port Macquarie at the Hastings Council office on 17 Burrawan Street, theres more to fill out the week. Just shows up prepared to learn without the hard sell.
