Landcares got a community planting gig happening at Bobs Creek on Sunday 22 February 2026 from 8.30am to 1pm. Its on disused private land near Port Macquarie in New South Wales postcode 2439 and its free if you fancy showing up with your green thumb or just a willingness to dig.

Theyre aiming to stick 500 trees in the dirt to whip up a canopy and wildlife corridor linking the best koala haunts. Koalas probably wont send thank you cards but the local wildlife will sneak through easier. Register via Eventbrite if youre keen.
