Amitav Ghosh is popping in for a yarn with Michael Williams about the history, post-colonial twists and environmental undercurrents running through his books, including his latest Ghost-Eye. Hes that rare breed of writer who spins tales like a pro while dissecting big ideas without making your eyes glaze over.

Hell chat through his career highlights, from the sprawling Ibis trilogy to the sharp non-fiction takes in The Great Derangement and The Nutmegs Curse, plus Ghost-Eyes dive into 1960s Calcutta.
